Sacred Songs of the Week

Here are the songs currently playing on my iPod constantly. The artists are a plethora of stoners, noise pop duos, hip hip slayers, and pop princesses. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.

1. "Weed is by My Side" by MC Chris. I'm kind of embarassed to say I love this song, but when you party with the guys I party with you can't help but bounce to the beat and sing the obsurd lyrics.

2. "Rill Rill" by Sleigh Bells. This song is the perfect summer jam. Just put down the windows let the breeze come in and lay back while listening to this song. I like how it seems so chill, but if you listen to the lyrics its actually really sinister. I've been playing it all summer and its perfect for when you're taking a 20 minute drive to the beach or a 2 hour road trip to  another small town.

3. "H.A.M." by Jay-Z and Kanye West. Its Jay-Z and Kanye West. Do I really need to explain? Thats what I thought.

And Last But Not Least...

4. "I'm a Slave 4 U" Britney Spears. We listened to this on our way up to Gainesville and had a pure 90's throwback sesh. It continued with a lot of N*Sync. I think this is one of my fave Britney songs because it was so controversial when it first came out. "OMG I can't believe she said H-E-Double Hockey Sticks!"
